This year I decided to take on the Thaksgiving Dinner for my family and all I can say is that I have a new respect for my mother and all of the years that she slaved in the kitchen. Thanks Mom!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!

I agree, Brian. Mothers work very hard, especially during the holiday season. Good luck with the celebrations!

Amen, Brian. My mother had her ankle replaced a few weeks ago and was unable to put together a Thanksgiving meal. We rallied the troops and still had a great time, but like you, I realized how hard she has been working all these years.

I decided to do the meal this year because my older daughter is getting into her twenties soon (may not have too many more Thanksgivings at home) and I really wanted to do it for my wife, who (mothering 4) more than deserves it and whom I am so thankful for. As it turned out I ended up with a new appreciation for my mom and my kids mom.........now back to building
