The package I have been waiting for was waiting oh so patiently on the front porch today for me to get home. What was in it you ask? Well, my new Steve Knight Toolworks Jointer Plane. For those in the market for any hand plane should seriously check him out. This is a serious plane that will probably outlive me and my kids and probably their kids. Its acclimating in my work area but I have afeeling that I will be afraid to use it its so nice!

I like to use a tripod, and even then I still use the timer function, and the pics turn out pretty clear. If you want to send me the plane, I can do a photo shoot. :)

Great looking plane, Frank!

I have one of Steve's jointers as well, in purpleheart. It's a great tool.

Is this your first wooden plane? If so, make sure you tune it up properly as it acclimates to your shop. (You should do that even if it is not your first wooden plane, but then you wouldn't need me to tell you that!)
