Got'it scraped, level and sanded. I think I like it!

for the record, the snakewood scraped readily, sanding was a bit tough, but all in all I really like the workability of the snakewood.

Lance! You can't actually sell something that ugly.. Don't worry, when it's done you can just send it to me. I'll even pay for the shipping if you throw in a some OLF hats and shirts to make it worth my while

I think snakewood looks good on just about any guitar. It is a pain to work with, but it is my favorite wood for looks.

Great job as usual Lance!

Great work as usual Lance
Got a question for ya. Do you use a spherical or cylindrical arch on the back of your guitars?

John - its a spherical, i build the back in a 15' radius dish. The (bend) in that second picture from them top is an optical illusion.

I can't think of a reason not to like it! Aside from the obvious dazzling
wood, those are about the crispest miters on the perfling I've seen. The
body's on fire now -- can you imagine what it's going to look like with
finish on it? Have I said this before -- the bar just gets higher.

Lance,
A thing of beauty to say the least my friend!! Snakewood is an awesome touch on any guitar used in any capacity and you did it great justice on this one.

I love its color and figure unfinished, but there's nothing that "pops" quite like it when a finish is thrown over it.

That is a beauty and your decision to go with top and side purflings and no back purflings is a favorite look of mine. I love the look of an entire back being all wood to wood transitions without the separating line between the binding and back.

Very nice and one I'm sure you'll be sorry to see go, but happy to hear played.

All the best,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega GuitarsKevin Gallagher38688.0055902778
