So here is the deal. I will list a variety of items. Please reply in the post so I can be sure who claimed what first, we will use the board's clock to make the determination of who calimed an item first. Shipping is actual cost plus about $3 for packaging materials. Prices are US Dollars. Payment can be paypal to (shane at highmountaintonewood dot com) or with visa or mastercard. I will be adding more items as we move along so you can wait until we are done to have the items shipped if you want, I will set your items aside once you have claimed them and paid the item price, I will add the shipping and send you that cost post swap meet or when you say you are done.

So, in the memorable words of Bugs Bunny.......On With The Show This is iiiiitttttt.

First up, 5 sets of quilt (pommel) bubinga. These sets are $135 each but first a picture of guitar built by Robbie McDougall with this same wood and a picture of the plank these sets came from. I have quite a few more if these don't satisfy all of your needs.

Sanding blocks are always handy. I made a few extra a while ago so I am clearing these ones out, take your pick for $12. I will make new ones, any radius. 12" double or single sided are $19.50 and 8" single or double sided are $16. The radius on the blocks are cut with our in house cnc machine and are made from local paper birch that has been seasoned for a few years.

These ones here for sale are:
- one 12" long 16" radius single sided
- two 8" long double sided, both sides 16" radius
- one 8" long double sided, one side 16" and the other 12"

Again, any one of these four blocks for $12 each.

Ship to zip 77018.

Is the quilt bubinga the same as what some folks call waterfall bubinga?

Don't ship yet, I see you may post more items I may want.

Thanks a bunch.
Hutch

Next up, a couple of special sets!

These are Mun Ebony, just beautiful and not always that easy to find. The backs are huge so you will have lots of room to get headplate veneers and bridge plates, maybe even rosette pieces. The is a crack in the far end though, way outside of any guitar pattern. The sides are 4.625" wide. I can add a fingerboard and bridge blank to each of these sets for $45 more.

First set, $335

Mun1.jpg

Second sets, $360

OK, I am off to sand some spruce sets and pull a few other items out of the closets!

Hi Chuck, those mahogany sets are yours. The bubinga figure is known as pommel, it is less common than waterfall, which are a series of wavy lines rather than the 3 dimensional figure you get with good pommel.

Thanks
Shane

Lutz Spruce sets. These sets have colour issues and some have some surface blue stain. Otherwise they are quite nice. I put most of these away but I will part with up to 50 sets at $25 each (sorry no volume discounts on these as I like them and would rather keep them but I have LOTS). The blue stained ones will sand off without issue. There may also be the odd bearclaw. I will not include any that have knot shadow or anything so these will be structurally quality sets. Here are a couple of examples:

Lutz340.jpg

Attachment:
Lutz341.jpg

Next I have 3 sets of Gotoh tuners. The ebony 381's are $50, the chrome 381's are $40 and the stealth ST31's are $90.

Gotoh.jpg

And how about this? Radius dish price is going to $82.50 right after this swap meet, so for the duration of the meet they remain at $75, my 2006 prices. They are cnc made and you can have any radius you want from 10' and up to right flat. I still contend that these are about as good as you get cause they are laminated before they are dished and then coated with varnish.

Ernie, I will post small (flat top mando) Lutz sets that I have, I have a few and they have been here for a while. I will try to get those posted later tonight.

Thanks
Shane

Hey Shane

Id like to try out those stealth tuners! They seem pretty cool.

Also I would be interested in some sets of mahogany if you have more. (I bailed out last time you offered them)

Thanks!

Joel

Here some small sets of lutz spruce for flat top mandos, ukes, what have you. They are about 5.75" x 16". I have 27 sets that have been sawn since at least January of 2005 and some from 2004. They all have a bit of character to them. $12 each and here are a couple of the sets:
