I am in Mexico City for a couple of weeks to testify on behalf of the company I work for in a wrongful death case. I was told to be available to be called from Dec. 7th through Dec 19th. I investigated the engineering details of the accident back the spring for my company is the reason I am involved.
Anyway I have been here since the afternoon of 6th, and so far all I have done is set around in the hotel, our local office or the court house during the day. I got to go out a little last night, what a wonderful city. Great food and great people. If not for having to be available at an hours call for the court, this would be a great vacation. And all at not expense to me, plus I am getting paid.
(not buy the Mexico court by the way)
So far I have not spent a bit of time on the stand, and it is beginning to look like I may not be called the 16th, or then maybe not at all. At least the weather is nice
