I posted this at the end of the auction thread but I thought I should do it here also. Dave got a great deal on the auction dish, so good in fact, that I can't really offer that price. But what I will do is offer a price of $60 US for any dish ordered before 25 December 2005. They are heavy at about 16 pounds so shipping at the extremes of North America (I am in north western BC and Dave is in Florida) is $28. The extra you pay in shipping results from the second lamination that is already applied to make these dishes stable and significant. They come standard at 24 inch diametre but can be made smaller at no extra cost. Each dish is finished all sides with two coats of Varathane Diamond Coat (water based).

Each dish is made to order so allow for a couple of weeks before they are out my door. The standard sizes are 12', 15', 20', 25', 28' and 30' radii. I can custom make any addition radius for the same price plus a $15 one time set-up fee (unless I have done it before then there is no set-up fee). Again, here is a picture of a 30' dish:

The very best of the season to you one and all!

Shane,
These are some of the nicest dishes I have seen. At $60 a pop I think I would like to order another - 15' Please.

Dang! Sometimes efficiency catches you! I just got home from mailing your 30 foot dish. Although, I think that two together would be too heavy for the mail room. I will get a 15 foot dish together for you in the next couple of days, actually it will be out of here a week Monday. Thanks for your continued support Dave!

please count me in for a 15". I would have a special request if possible; can you make a 30" radius on the back surface, same dish?
No rush, just let me know if you think it's possible and how can I paypal you the cost.

Luigi,

I can make a combo dish but they may not be as perfectly round as the singles as I will have to attached each dish to a plate to spin it. Anyway those are details.

I can do it, I will PM you. Thanks for the support!

HI Shane

The other issue I see with a double dish is, you add the second plate for stability, and on a double dish the two thinnest parts are together so you may have a stability problem in the middle.

Just a thought

That's possible Russel but I think that there will still be at least 1 inch of MDF and it gets thicker as you move out so it should be OK. I did think about that also though.

Thanks

The center of a dome is very stable. I have two of these back to back dish sets that I made about 8 months ago and they have been through humidity changes of 90% to 30% and I haven't even gotten around to sealing them yet. No problem, though I do plan on sealing them.
