I too would like to extend my thanks to all of you for helping to lift my business in 2005. It is still a bit slow but that is because I am trying to bring in new products all of the time and tend to be putting out as much (more actually) than I am bringing in but in the end I hope to be serve you all well with good service and quality items. Thanks again everyone and may you all prosper and find great joy in 2006. Peace to us all! Shane |

Thanks for all you've brought to the board, Shane! Haven't tried your wares out, but heck, I haven't begun my first guitar yet! I want to familiarize myself as thoroughly as possible with luthier woods, so I'm emphasising variety and quality more than quantity so far as I build up stores. (does that seem weird? I'm very tactile: feeling the wood in my hands tells me things I don't pick up from pictures and descriptions). Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a few High Mountain tops pretty soon here. (I REALLY need to get the shop together so I have some place to put all this wood - I think my wife is beginning to suspect I'm up to something...) {LOL] I hope you continue to document & chronicle your life as a wood- merchant as we move past the holidays. Thanks again, Shane! |

Shane, Thank you for all of pictures and commentary you've contributed throughout the year. Your posts have played a major part in advancing my abilities in the shop. All of your help with the bandsaw I bought, all of the wood I've gotten from you, has challenged me to the max, and you were there to help. I must say that probably the most challenging was cutting the beautiful billet of Lutz Spruce I got from you. I'm glad I did it, but I don't know where you get the strength to do that all day long. Very tough job. Anyway, Happy New Year! I hope your business soars in 2006. |

Shane It has been great to see the number of Canadian suppliers expanding. I haven't had the pleasure of doing business with you yet, but you will see an order from me early in the new year. I have got to get my hands on some of the Lutz. Keep the new products coming! Josh |
