Does anybody have any good recommendations for a micro tablesaw? I'd like to get one to use for rosette tiles, veneers, and other small projects. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

John

Proxxon also makes one very similar (model FKS/E) to the Micro Mark and
it's priced a couple of bucks less. I have one of their scroll saws that's
very nice. They're German-made. They also have a cheaper saw (KS 115)
for about $130.

You might want to check out preac.com
I just know of them, not first hand, so can only point you to their site.

They sell a mini table saw as well as a mini thickness sander, which some inlay artists use for thicknessing small parts.

John, I bought a used Jarmac with a 4" blade and 9" x 12" table on eBay. I also bought a cheap tablesaw and disk sander package. Stay away from the package as the word cheap doesn't exclusively describe the price. However, the Jarmac is well made hobby saw. Do a google search to see what they look like then try eBay.

Don't know if this one from Harbor Freight is 'good enough' for your task, but it's cheap at $50.

I bought a used Dremel Mini 4" tablesaw off eBay for about $150. Dremel doesn't make them any more, but they sometimes appear on eBay.
