I was curious if anybody uses, or has used an electric hand planer? I am confined to a small work space and own a couple of nice hand planes(Lie nielsen and a veritas) but don't have room for a cabinet planer. The hand planes work great for finishing, but I'm curious to know if the electric ones do a fine job, or if they just Ruin things faster? Any suggestions would be helpful. |

Yep, I agree with Dickey. The Wagner is MUCH MUCH more suited for this than the electric planers. They will almost surely ruin things faster. Those blades have a tendency to make thin wood bounce and rough it up. -j. |
