Well just when you thought you'd seen it all.

This is something my brother-inlaw thought of. Check it out.

Will that make it through customs?
What kind of turf diseases do you guys have in Canada?
Does your brother have a dog?

Lots of questions....

Steve

Well I might have to have that. Is that a buy it now price.
It seems like a pretty fair price for a sandwich bag.

Rod, That is funny! But seriously, your bro-in-law could be opening himself up to some legal troubles if the sale actually happens. It would make for a bad day if a humourless bureaucrat (US Dept. of Agriculture, etc...?) saw this and found something 'illegal' about it! He should tread carefully on unknown turf...

Rod that's pretty funny, but like others here I would be careful about shipping that to the US. US customs doesn't have a sense of humour.

All they could do is seize the grass.. Make sure he labels it accurately and I can't see it being a problem.

He'll get more exposure by also listing it as "Lawn clippings." And it will no doubt fetch a better price if he can say that it's "organically grown."

Hmnnn ... I wonder if there's a market for other off-cuts? Here in Florida we've got all these diseased orange trees just laying around waiting for the bonfire.
