Larry, the reverse spotface tool arrived today, I promptly went to my shop and began to plan how I was going to use it. I settled on making a plug that fit perfectly into the mortise on my guitar body, then I drilled pilot holes in the plug on the drill press, I took them to 5/16"
After that I placed the plug back in the mortise, following my pilot holes drilled two 5/16" holes, perfectly centered into my neck block.
Now it was time for Mr Reverse Spotface
It worked like a charm! Quick, clean and most of all easy!
Thanks so much for lending it to me! NOW where can I get the exact same tool!
