Thought he might be out of the hospital by now. Has anybody heard anything from his daughters?

I just sent an email from his website. I'll let everyone know if I get a response.

Here's the latest from Jim's family. Sounds like he's on the mend:

Thanks so much for asking. He's doing much better. He's home from the hospital (came home Monday) and as of today is just on oral antibiotics. He's really weak , he can't go to work next week and most likely after that will just work part time or something, all depending on how he's feeling.

Thanks again :-)

Welcome Back Jim, hope you are doing better. I saw your post over in the chisel sharpening thread and wanted to say hello over here so folks would know you were up and around. Here is a picture for you:

This is a guitar made by our friend Hank Mauel. Just ought to make any luthier smile.

Bruce...That was John Watkins on the chisel thread...not Jim Watts. JJ Donohue38748.3468865741

JJ, thanks. The time reads 5:48 A.M. but it was really 4:48 for me. Hmmm. Note to self: No posting before daylight. Sorry John and Jim.

so that's what happened to jim. I was wondering cause I sent him a check
like a month ago and he has never cashed it.

Be well Jim! We are all here for you.

Bruce,

I think you might have Jim confused with John Watkins
