It's a beauty Matt, is it an OM? Kinda hard to tell from that angle. I still have a couple sets of that stuff but not till someone wants a custom job. Can't wait to see more pics.

Very, very nice, Matt.
Was the cutaway difficult?

Steve

Thanks guys,

Lance and Steve: yes I did this cutaway on my hot pipe, I have yet to master the fox bender method with out breaking, so I avoid the access anxiety.

I have to say I like doing that bend by hand, i feel like i have more control over the outcome. I do use a thin piece of spring steel on top of the wood as I bend by hand this helps keep some of the moisture in.

John How, thanks my friend, yes it is my OM, and only the second venetian cutaway I have done. I too have just 2 more sets of this stuff that I am saving as well for something special.

Brother Tom : N.F.W. am I bringing this one to Newport, this is just a warm up guitar and I think I may have it sold already, but if not I`ll bring it with me to an upcoming N.E.L. meeting.
you could come down to the cape and hang out with me sometime ya know!

Thanks again everyone

Nice Job Mr Matt. I was going do one of those!

I haven't made an OM cutaway ... I like shape, yea yea that's it.

Really dude (that's right mr. FOG your not too old to be a dude) it is awesome. Bring it on by my place along with your skis.
