Can anyone suggest a source for some good quality 12 string 6-on-a-plate tuners for a slothead instrument? I'm about to start on a kind of Portuguese Guitarra/Laud/12 string guitar hybrid for a customer and I'd like to fit it with something better than usual cheap ones I can find. When it's finished it should look something like this:  |

hello Mr Grey, Some years back Ralph Bown when making a replica Stella 12 string used 2 sets of Schaller mandoline Tuners. He joined them together to make 6 a side. There was a artical on Stewmac website. Good luck Rick Sellens Hastings UK PS machine heads are avaliable from Dave Dyke at Horam not far from me . |
