I am considering making a 12 string based on the OLF SJ plans.
What brace changes. bridge plate changes would you make.
Has anyone made an SJ 12 string???
Wood selection????
Any input appreciated
Andy

yep I have I built one out of IRW and Sitka my bridge plate was 3/8" deeper to account for extra set of pin holes same for my bridge. I keep the same brcing pattern but beef it up about 10% on the x-bracing and tone bars. I used x braces back but added two more brace arms i.e. a star brace vs x brace (sorry I don't have pics. other than that just the neck, FB width and peghead changes requird for 12 string. I kept the same depth most make them a bit deeper but I liked it.
