In order to not let this project slip away, and since no one else has stepped forward to ram rod the project I will.

Because there has been some dropout and I am now unsure of each remaining members contributions, tasks and progress to date please post your status. I will need to know both the status of contributions as well as the the status of the guitar it's self.

If your area of responsibility has pasted, please post what it was and when completed.

After everyone has posted give me about 3 days and I will have a project (updatable)schedule put together. Please be aware I will hound you when needed but with the understanding that life has lots of twists and turns.

Ok lets get going.

I volunteered the supply and build the neck as well as fit it to the body. I will start as soon as the body and fretboard are in my shop.

R U the boss? First I'd like to determine who the recipient might be. I have a suggestion, but must talk off forum for now. Michael, INCOMING!

I was supposed to brace the back, glue on the back and glue on the top. I've got the back but sent the top back to Michael as he was going to use it for his Habitat guitar.
When I originally offered to do this one I had very little on my plate. Now my plate runnith over so I'm not sure of timing. If you still want me I'll have to give you an "I'll get to it when I can" answer.

Everyone if you would, lets keep this topic clear of anything but status reports as it will be hard to confirm that everyoune has reported in if there are a bunch of misc posts in it. I don't want to sound or act grump but it would sure help me a bunch if we could

Thanks guys

Two offers on a braced top, see Adirondack / Sitka Thread, pics of the four-piece bookmatched / slipmatched Adirondack top. First thing we need is a benefactor, since we have a bossman! Go Michael Go!

Michael,

I am the guy tasked with contacting the charity (whoever it may turn out to be) and arrnaging when and how the guitar will be auctioned etc.

If you want an over view of my efforts to date, please PM me.

I contributed the red heart abalone rosette. Michael still has it and wants to know what I want him to do with it.

If we are going forward with the charity build I would be happy to have him send it to someone. Otherwise, I'll just have him send it back to me.

I'm still in to donate a K&K pickup, just let me know when and where to send it.
