I really like the set of cauls John offered us, and wanted a way to both store them, and have them in order so that I could grab the right one when needed. So, I made up this little thing, and figured others here may want to make one up for themselves. Beats having them loose in a box!

Nice idea Mario. I just received mine today and immediately made a box to safely store them. The attached pic is a piece of Baltic ply kerfed on a table saw. This fits nicely in a Waverly tuner box.

Great job on the cauls, John!

I just took a scrap piece of 2 x 8 pine lumber, cut off a chunk roughly square, and drilled a bunch of holes in the face with a spade bit on the drill press. The cauls stand up on end in the holes. They are in several rows, but still in order. Works for me.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying the caul inserts. Once the caul/holder is finished (hopefully tomorrow), I'll be coming out with a case of my own that houses all of the caul inserts, the caul/holder, and the allen wrench for the set screws (yes, plural).
