I really like the set of cauls John offered us, and wanted a way to both store them, and have them in order so that I could grab the right one when needed. So, I made up this little thing, and figured others here may want to make one up for themselves. Beats having them loose in a box! ![]() |

Nice idea Mario. I just received mine today and immediately made a box to safely store them. The attached pic is a piece of Baltic ply kerfed on a table saw. This fits nicely in a Waverly tuner box. Great job on the cauls, John! |

I just took a scrap piece of 2 x 8 pine lumber, cut off a chunk roughly square, and drilled a bunch of holes in the face with a spade bit on the drill press. The cauls stand up on end in the holes. They are in several rows, but still in order. Works for me. |

I'm glad you guys are enjoying the caul inserts. Once the caul/holder is finished (hopefully tomorrow), I'll be coming out with a case of my own that houses all of the caul inserts, the caul/holder, and the allen wrench for the set screws (yes, plural). |
