you need help choosing a pick-up or on the wiring of them..or both?
What configuration of pickup(s) are you wanting, like a P-Bass setup? If
so go to www.lollarguitars.com click buy now and just get them. He
makes the best pick-up on the planet I think.John Mayes38761.8350925926

I put Seymour Duncans in the bass that I made for my wife it's a PJ set up. The AJJ1 & APB1 with there STC-3SB3 pre-amp wired for 18 volts. It really thumps man, I've had numerous bass players pick it up that wanted to buy it on the spot.

been using Bartolini active and passive circuits since 1985 (G-d I am getting old) I always love them, you tend to hear more wood than pickup.

I tough of going with BARTOLINI (2 soapbars + circuit)
but also ROB GREEN from status bass in Englant propose to custom build the board just for me....AND ON THE OTHER HAND , EMG proposed to build them too

IMO once you heard a STATUS BASS..man it's unbalivable , you never heard something like that..

EMG well i dont know much about them....all i know is you see them on about anything..

BARTOLINI...well if FODERA and MTD uses them they must be good!!

the sound i'm looking for my neck-thru is a smooth low jazz sound , but when the time comes to slap the hell out of that bass...it also sound like a ton of bricks..

i think i'll get it custom build by status...I'M ONLY ORDERING 200 PICKUPS AND 100 CIRCUIT BOOARDS....

THANX!

P.S. daleh that's a nice bass!
