For those of you that have built 12 strings, how do you space the strings at
the nut. I am using a 1 7/8 nut.
Thanks
Andy

Here is the actual spacing on a 12 string made by Bozo Paduvac that I was
lucky enough to examine several years ago. These measurements are a great
place to start to adapt to your design. Good luck!

Andy -

If you complete a 12 string, would you mind posting some of the major
differences you ran into versus a 6 string? I imagine my next will be a 12.

I presume the bracing is heavier (but how?). The string spacing was also
something I wondered about. What about neck construction - anything
special there?

Good luck on your project!

Do a search in the archives about 12 strings on the forum and you will find a
thread that talks about the differences in bracing etc.

Thanks for the tip, Andy. I'll do that.
