Okay, the Wood and Steel came last week, but I just now got around to reading it. They introduced a new acoustic on the heels of the T5. It's called the Grand Symphony. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who's actually seen it or played it. It was debuted at the recent NAMM show. Bob and Kurt have a habit of hitting home runs. I'm proud for them. Anyway, thought those of you who haven't even heard of it, might enjoy the read. The wood and steel rag is their company news put out every quarter and available online here: Grand Symphony in the Wood and Steel Oh, just read this, the GS is due at dealers in April. |

I can't wait to sit down with one of these. April, that's not far off. I'll have to go see Jack in Conway. It's about time I had a new guitar. |

Interesting...looks like they married an SJ and a Dred, essentially. I like the design mentality behind it (no cutaways, no electronics as standard) as well, although I'm not wild about the upper bout shape. I still think Bob got it right with the Grand A and Grand C. This one might grow on me. |

I was at the Taylor factory 2 weeks ago and saw a couple in construction. None ready for playing It reminds me of an SJ. Larger rounder lower bout. I think it will have a deeper body than the Grand Auditorium. Also they told me they are coming out with a Bob Taylor Signature Series. This will be custom ordered hand made guitars!!! Andy |

I've owned a 310 a 410 and still have a 312 and a 314 in the family. I've owned a couple Martins too and loved them all. Some more than others. I just think it will be great to try one of these when they come off the line. I've been a Listug/Taylor fan for a while.... cause it's the American Dream! Right! |

Right now I'm lusting over a 1976 Martin HD-28 first year for that model. Anyone want to buy a 60's baby bass. If I sell it mabe I can afford the Martin. Al |

JJ I know I'm in the process of building #s 8,9,&10. A walnut herringbone dred, a sapele auditorium, and a curly maple dred. And...I just bent a set of lacewood sides for an auditorium. I just like the Martin. I haven't owned one for a while. Al |
