My contest wood arrived yesterday!

It's great! I can't remember if Doug mentioned this before, but he put in a Redwood top set as well as the Cedar top. So I was very plesantly surprised when I opened the box.

Now I find that I have a bit of a dilema and thought maybe some people here could help me out. It seems that I have 7 top sets and only 4 back and side sets! What ever shall I do?? Should I use the extra top sets to make book ends or paper weights?

Oh and one more thing. With so many great sponsors here it's getting hard to decide who to buy my wood and supplies from! Can some of you sponsors help us out by giving bad service and low quality wood for high prices? That way it would be easier to decide where to buy from!

Thanks Doug!!

Duh. Buy more back/side zoot. Or send me the tops, since I've got a slight top deficit right now.

Sounds like it's time to buy some more b&s sets!
Hey...that stash isn't anywhere large enough to call respectable...it shows no signs of W.A.S. at all!Don Williams38771.508587963

Don't feel alone, Serge, I only have two sets myself. They are beautiful curly cherry, though, from Steve at Colonial.
I do have enough Hondurus Mahogany to make about 12 one piece necks and 6 or 8 laminated ones. I figure that'll last me 10 or 12 years on the necks.

Serge, from the tone of all your posts, I don't think you could ever practice long enough to make yourself grumpy. You really help brighten up my time on the forum. I hope to get to meet you some day.

Ron

Ron, I've had the pleasure of meeting Serge in person, and we became instant friends. You couldn't ask for a better guy. He'd give you the shirt off his back... I'm working with some of Steve's curly cherrywood for number one... Very nice wood... Looks beautiful to me...
I myself just have a few top sets (3) and one set of EIR to myself...
When I hear of all the zoot some of you have, I feel naked!!!
