One feature I don't like....
The "Post Reply" feautre.
Why? you ask? Well because you can't see the original post in order to reply easily. All you see is this field. Can that be fixed ? Thanks....

LOOKS GREAT SO FAR ! ! !

How about if you just use the reply box at the bottom of the screen?

You could use the "Quote" button at the right of each message/reply to attach it to your reply (it shows up in the field where you type your reply).[/QUOTE]

True, but it's awkward, and a bit cumbersome. And if the post were long, you would have to copy the whole thing in order to respond to the points you wanted to. That seems extreme to me...

Nice site, Lance...it certainly addresses all the frustrating issues from the old site. Hopefully, some of the more vocal naysayers can jump on and kick the tires...I'm not mentioning any names!...JJ

Personally I think the nay sayers are going to be a bit overwhelmed by this and we need to ease them in slowly.

Agreed ! This software has so much potential, and is a luxury package compared to the no-frills software we've been using. This is starting to look like the OLF will be "The" Premier guitarmaker's discussion group online. Nice job Brock and crew...awesome.

Hey the Edit feature still needs work.... it posts a second message instead of fixing the one you think you're editing......Brock?

Brock...

If I hit the post reply button I go to a new page and my focus is on the bottom of the page so I have to scroll back up to find the post dialog box, kinda funky. Any reason you can't just pop them to the bottom of the forum page or popup a small modal window with the post box in there?? personally I would like to see a window (but if they have the popup blocker enabled on the latest SP for windows that wouldn't work, I hate and love that feature ;)

It's looking good though, your team is doing a great job.

The scrolling up is my fault, im trying to converge both the old site with the new BB, that will be fixed.

Lance,

So far I can not find anything that has not already been mentioned.

This is just very, very cool!

One other thing I noticed is that if I'm looking at the summary page for a discussion and click one of the links to say my message I expected it to focus on that message, instead it went to the first message .

Also the emoticon page is generating an error when you attempt to use one of those icons , the ones on the side work great.
