The way I do my endgraft requires me to shim it for side purfling but then the side purfling has to be removed as it's one piece from the side coming down through the graft. but I can't find any .020 teflon. Any thoughts? |

Paul, I've never seen teflon strips that thin from luthiers supply shops. You can purchase teflon sheets and rip them to thickness. Alternatively, have you thought of thickness sanding strips to .02"? |

Thanks guys, yes, I had thought about resawing some UHMW and then finish sanding it to thickness but I don't think my tolorances would be good enough. I checked McMaster Carr. They indeed do have sheets of .020 "film" in various sizes. They have it all the way down to .002". Some sort of electrical application. |
