Im headed home and stright to the shop! Got a nut to cut for an electric guitar and I'm putting the finishing touches on the 12 fret dread, then its headed off to Tonys! I was going to try to get it out this week, but "LIFE" would have NONE of that!

later all!
Off to make sawdust!!

Let me join Lance in wishing everyone a great weekend.

I'll be in the shop setting up my new dust collector and taking care of some other preparations so I can actually build a guitar. As the saying goes, "No matter what you want to do, you have to do something else first." But soon, now, soon ...

I've not heard that saying before. It is SO true! Just finishing building out a room in my house. Now I need to clear the shop of sheetrock miscellany before getting going to the guitar... It's always something.

Have a great weekend everyone. BEER O'CLOCK!

Yep, just got done with some mechanic work. One transmission swap, and a fuel pump & tank replacement. Now I have my shop back! For awhile, anyway.
Have a good`un guys!

I slapped a set of pads on the front of my F150 Thursday morning. 45 minutes, standard jack with the long handle, a 1/2" Craftsman open end, a four-way, and a box of pads. Beautiful morning too. Kind of enjoyed it.

Have a great weekend everyone.

It's working nights for me... but I might get the chance to finally finish the binding on my very first... The back binding is all done, the top purfling is done, and those bindings are even bent and waiting for the glue.... Close, and yet, so far...

For me, I am putting the wheels back on the resaw, I just had rubber tires made and installed on them, then I plan to start cutting a bunch very nice Lutz Tops. I was up in the mountains today at a logging block....the birds were a'singing away, Spring is in the air.

Peace everyone!

Shane

I will be installing a new Drill press tommorrow, setting up my Safety Planner and thicknessing tops in the morning. My wife is a Chidren's Minister at our church and I found out I will be cutting out Crosses for a craft deal for the kiddo's at lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to carving a new bridge design.

Great weekend to all

I'll come in with a great weekend wish for you all, too! I am going out to a big jam session/party at a local joint on saturday, and bringing along a new electric axe myself....I'll spring it on 'em there.
Lance, I am very interested in seeing the electric that you are finishing up, too!

Good luck Mark and Lance... Any chance of seeing a few pics of those electrics?

Hesh, I'm sending the vibes, my man... Sending those 'feel groovy, nothing can go wrong, I am at one with myself and the universe' kinda vibes... Dig?

Hey Bruce, I didn't know they sold Fords in Antarctica. I thought you could only get a Holden. Talk about down under! Boy, you move around a lot!

Happy Friday from San Anselmo, USA

I on the other hand am getting the heck out of the shop for the weekend. We got some snow here on cape cod and I will be x-c skiing. I can really use the excersise right now after so much time behind the bench.

Lance: glad to hear the 12 fretter is coming along.

Matt

I going to try and finish two necks today, then I'm gonna jam some over the weekend, too. But I'll be playing the banjo. (maybe playing with my banjo is more descriptive, I'm not very good).
