I watched Robbie's latest DVD last night. I thought it was most helpful. The 2 parts on French Polishing were particularly interesting. His method seems pretty simple. I'm looking forward to doing this to at least the top and neck on my latest effort.

BTW, I noticed that our man Tracy played guitar in the background. Sweet sound and great playing, Tracy!

Glad you liked it JJ! It's a little tune I made just for Robbie's DVD's.

Hey Michael,
I was in a really bizarre tuning on this one, and I don't even remember what the tuning is! I'll have to go back and try to relearn it. I basically made it up in an afternoon of playing. By the way, which song are you referring to? If it is the really slow one on the credits page, that one is in DADGAD and capo V.

JJ,
I am glad you liked the DVD and found it helpful. I really think it simplifies the aspect of finishing.
