I posted a message on that forum but had no response all day.

Anyway, the Cedar Creek case is scheduled to be shipped during the first week in April. To whom should it be shipped?

Please PM me with an address. TIA

JJ, I think John Kinaird would like to be able to ship the guitar from his shop in the case. He will be attaching the neck and I think that is as good a time as any to start shipping in the case.

Thanks, John K. I'll have Cedar Creek ship the case to your home.

OLF #1 is kind of on Autopilot. I think everyone involved next is aware, such as Craig Lavin, Addam Stark, and Tim McKnight.

John K., the work on the neck is most excellent. What a joy to see a master at work. It will also be exciting to see what Craig comes up with for the OLF #1 Guitar Project.

John How, Actually would the neck ship better alone for inlay? Florida and back to Georgia?

Addam might prefer to finish it separate too, but when it goes there, a case would be great?

What do you think guys?

Probably but I think John has the body and it should be shipped in the case at any rate so it should go to John. John's necks are the completed bolt on variety so the whole thing is removable for finishing. There is probably no reason to send the whole thing to Craig. Now if I remember correctly Tim Mcknight is doing setup, is he installing the bridge as well?

Time to firm that up a bit. Tim? We'll send him a PM or email and see if he's on for that.

As things have ended up, both projects are going to hit him at or around the same time

I was thinking of something simple like OLF letters intertwined. But, I don't know what the original plans were.

There were several comments but we were trying to leave it up to Craig on the FOLK guitar. It is amazing that both have materialized so untimely for Craig.

He said he's quite busy so we'll just have to live with his schedule. Thanks Craig.

Emailed Tim McKnight a couple of times. He is up for complete setup on the OLF FOLK Guitar Project #1.

He plans to: 1. install a bridge, who has it? 2. Install Waverleys, he has those already. 3. fret the neck. 4. Install saddle, nut, strings and pins

Wow, that's a lot of work Tim, thanks a lot to you and everyone who's done a part of this project.

How about this...Tree of Life on the fingerboard, with a portrait of Lance blooming on the headstock, and "Friends Of Lance Kragenbrink" at the top? Something simple.

Whatever you all decide, this is going to be a priceless guitar--great work, guys!
