Hi folks,
I just stumbled on this from wikipedia during a search on abalam. Have we tainted all those instruments with deceiving adornment?
Whom do you think will file the trademark infringement suit?

Abalam
In demonology Abalam is a King of Hell and one of Paimon's assistants, who will attend him if some offerings are made to his demon chief.

No depiction is given of this demon and very little is known on him.

Other spelling: Abalim.

I knew the last time I used it and little pieces flaked off that it must be from Hell. And hear to think it adorns some of the most Heavenly instruments. Go figure.

Funny...

I love the stuff. It's very easy to work with, and the curved strips go into a rosette really quick. Some say that it doesn't seem to have the "depth" of the solid stuff, but I can't really tell the difference.

Pssst, don't tell Peter.

Surely this has to be a mistake. Don't you spell ablam, Ablam? A rose by any other name still smells as sweet.

You are right, abalone, abalam. Sounds right.

Still, back to the rose deal above: This sounds like it could be Abalogna.Bruce Dickey38785.6963425926
