Well, I promised a couple more pics, so here goes....
If you caught the other thread, this first set is from the top half of the sister board to the first set in the last thread.
Confused? Me too, I think...
Well, all that won't matter when you see it...

I'm beginning to wonder if all this is some strange cross between different rosewood species because of the color and glassiness of the wood.
This almost looks like some Panama Rosewood I've seen, but it's cocobolo:
