Over bend the ends slightly and use a little titebond.

Andy, I've heard some use epoxy for this, but don't quote me. I assume you are talking about widening the fret slots so that the slot is only a hair smaller than the fret tang and barb. Yes/No?

The other day I tried something new. I had a bottle of fish glue handy and used it. It worked great! It has a quick grab and cleans up with a little water. Sure is better than trying to glue things down with CA. That stuff is a mess to clean up.

Titebond with over-radiused frets. If you have some glue in the kerf just heat up a knife with a thin blade (exacto etc...) and just heat up the glue. Hope this helps.
By the way Andy, I have those pics of the 'rope' purfling (LMI) and others if you're interested PM me... cheers.

Alain
