This is a bug(?) that resulted from the modifications we made to the original Web Wiz code. I talked to the coder about it and he turned a light shade of green when I suggested that we try to fix this.

So I guess that probably is not in the cards.

We are looking into the upgrade to Web Wiz anyway which will probably force us to get rid of the cascading threads. With all the new members and with the flurry of posts I am not sure this concept is as valid as it once was.

Brock, I tend to agree. I liked the cascading topics until the membership reached this level but now only use Active Topics. Any chance that you could join a thread and click to jump to the new posts?

A minor niggle I've got: using Firefox, clicking on a specific message in a thread doesn't work. You always end up at the top of the page.

Mattia, I've noticed that too and it was actually the reason I started using Active Topics. I just automatically hit Ctrl-End to jump to the bottom of the page. Easier to scroll up to the new posts than down through the rest of them.

Interesting. I suspect this too might be something that is caused by our modifications.

We are looking into the Web Wiz upgrade we might start testing that soon to see what other impacts it would have.

I appreciate the input.

While your at it, another minor glitch is that, from the topics page, except for the first post in a thread, hovering over a header shows you the previous post, not the one your on. Responses past the first layer don't show at all. This is a feature I use a lot when browsing.Scott Thompson38806.7570717593
