I was looking around at the Taylor and Martin sites and found some size informaion but not upper and lower bout and waist information...Any idea where I can get that info? Just educating myself as to the sizes out there. Specifically I am looking for the Martin D, OOO, OO and Taylor Grand Auditorium and Grand Concert.
Thanks!

Keep in mind that specific guitar size dimensions by one builder/manufacturer will vary somewhat. Lower bout dimensions are fairly consistent but waist valley, waist radius, waist location, upper bouts and depth dimensions vary widely.MichaelP38804.6603935185

Is there really another standard other than Martin?

Granted that most builders build to Martin spec's but my point was that a Taylor Grand Concert and say an Yairi Grand Concert will not likly have the exact dimensions. The body length, lower bout and body volume are going to be close but the minusha in getting there will vary.MichaelP38804.6689467593

Ever have one of those "OH YEAH!" moments? For some reason, I just figured out what an Album title meant. Not sure if there is anyone here that knows a band named Dinosaur Jr, let alone liked Dinosaur Jr but, the singer put out a solo CD called "Martin and me". Of course, its a live acoustic set. It finally clicked! He plays a Martin! Just wanted to share that. I bought the CD almost 10 years ago and it never clicked. I guess it would have been a strange title "Yairi and me" or "Kragenbrink and me"
