Okay, I was accused of having a SICK MIND because my shop was too clean. Truth is I haven't cleaned shop in a month. So, to prove to Steve K. that I don't have a sick mind here are some pics to prove it.

Now, lets see your mess. When the pics are in we'll put up a poll and vote on whose mess is the messiest!

Do it or SteveK will think you are sick sick sick....

BEsides, with the feeding frenzy you've had, we'd all understand. Do it.

Hey Bruce, is that some big ol slabs of walnut sitting in front of your bandsaw?

I just moved into my shop about a month ago. I do have paths cleared out so I can walk around most of it though.

Bruce,

I have two questions:

1.) Where is all the ducting for your dust collector? I see the Delta, but no ducting going to the tools.

2.) What is the boat cleat for at the end of your workbench?

Cheers!

John

This first shot is what you see when you just step inside the shop.

Next is a shot just turning to the left. As you can see I can't even open my overhead door due to all the junk piled up against it.

This one is standing in front of the overhead door and looking over toward where my benches are.

This last one is standing back by the bathroom and looking toward the overhead door.

I moved from a 1500 sq ft shop to one that is around 850 sq ft and I am still trying to work out where I want everything to be located. Oh yeah, the shelves are mostly just piled with junk that I needed to get out of my way while moving something else.

Dave, Yep California Claro it is, came in one box, poor UPS man may need to see his proctologist!

John, The duct is black flex hose and I currently move it from Laguna to General and back again. Funny thing about that Delta. I ordered the under 8 foot model, they shipped me the ten foot model. I had to build a ten foot corner, a pain, but I'm glad I did. Yeah, some permanent ductwork would be nice.

John, the luthier cleat is explained in this picture:

We broke ground a couple of weeks ago and were rained on 3 out of 4 days
since.
Here's the excavator going at it, and the concrete pour going in (on the only
sunny day so far!)

I'll bet none of you have a tractor in your shop and have to wear mud boots!
The building goes up next week and then I start on the inside...

That's the extent of it, if I turn around, I am facing the other wall.

Hey Bruce, we ok?

Doug, that looks like a "John Mayes" table there with the routing templates! No "Bo-boats" there tho...

Yup, just sent you a PM a while ago and didn't hear from you on it, that's all.

You missed the empty in this pic, hiding on the bench.

Yeah Larry, that's a direct rip-off of John's jigs. Built them after I watched his neck making video. They are very handy.

Wow, I don't feel so bad. This is embarrassing, but in a group therapy kind of way.
