Anyone ever used full lenght purflings. I bought some from Allied to try out. They are going on a box with abalone top purfling. Just thinking they may be a bit cumbersome to deal with 2 of them and teflon strips at the same time. |

Piece-O-cake Michael. Try one of these, all sides are full width and the back strip has round corners as well so every binding has somethinig in common with it's neighbor on each side, top & back. The backstrip can't even go in till the guitar box is close so that it so they all have to go on together. Kind of a pain but not that bad. |

I've just used some for the first time on the weekend. For some reason they look better, no joins, the lines look more continuous for some reason - might be my imagination though. Can be a bit of a pain to put the on the guitar, but it's just a matter of planing around it. |
