Well, I think he's gone. I dumped a whole box of mothballs in one end of the tunnel then filled both ends in with dirt. Haven't seen a sign for nearly two weeks!   I don't know if he was out to lunch and didn't like the smell when he came home, or if he was inside and got gassed. He might have died laughing . Anyway, I think that problem is solved. I hope he moved over to my brother's house.

Ron

I'm happy for you. Armadillos are really strange creatures. I kind of hope he just moved on.

Yeah, I hope he moved on, too. I don't like harming animals. Hopefully he'll show up at my brother's house and keep him busy for a while.

Ron, if it moved to your brothers, it could actually help. Maybe he won't have a lawn to mow this year.

Bad part is, if I'd seen this topic 30 years ago, I would have wondered if the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin TX had managed to stay afloat another month. Funny how our priorities change. Don A38817.9855671296

Sounds like another joke on your brother might be pending.

Thanks Man!

Yeah, Shane, though he stillo really doesn't want to discuss it. It bothers him that I pulled one over on him. My thanks to all who shared their time and their support.

Ron,
Just my orneriness talking, but play the mothball game with him, and somehow plant a device in the hole that`ll growl when he pokes a stick in it! Boy, I wish I were there to "help".

Mabe a Billybass in its hole would do the trick. Every time it tried to go home Billy bass would sing "Take me to the river".

Uh, Ron...I suddenly had this vision of your brother buying a Japanese "RoboDillo" and sending it into your yard! Do you recall hearing any snickering that you couldn't pinpoint as you were stuffing mothballs into holes?
