Hey guys, I need to drop fill some pores...(I know, it's the LAST one I have to finish...they're all headed to Tony from here on out!)...found this on Charlie Hoffman's site and would like to get one or two...I thought I saw something similar in SMac's book, but not anymore...anyone know where I can find one? TIA.

My local plastics store has something pretty similat to that. They sell them for gluing lexan or plexi together, along with weldon cement. You can buy the applicator separate though. |

Larry, I got one at my plastics place too. But be warned, unless you want to do a lot of cleaning with acetone, it's going to clog very fast. I'd look into disposable pipettes first. |

I am with Paul here these have become unpopular because of the regular cleaning and needle replacement required. They are used well for lubricants but not so well for glues CAs, or finishes. Disposable pipettes have pretty much replaced them in these usages. |

Okay, that's a good point guys...I have some SMac pipettes from a while back, but was looking for something a little more betterer...but, since this is the last time I plan to do this...  ...Thanks for the help!

Larry, just curious, what makes something like this more gooder (Betterer is just too hard to roll off the tongue, you want to use More Gooder from now on) than pipettes? are you wanting it to hold more fluid? Just wondering? |

Larry, I just looked in the yellow pages under plastic and found a place that sell every type of plastic imaginable. You might have to go to the nearest major city if you live in a small town though. I'm sure if OKC has them, any big city would. |

You might try the local hobby store that sells RC cars. I used to race RC cars with electric engines and we used the bottles to lubricate the bearings and motors. The tubes are pretty thin and my not have a long life when using CA. Philip |

Here is a FF tip. Take your pipette, pull the tip and stretch the pipette. The pipette will get long and skinny. trim it and you have a micro-pipette tip. |

LMI has "pro tips" that fit right on the CA glue bottle. No transferring to a pipette or other bottle that way. -C |

I buy micro capillary tip extensions that fit on 2 oz CA bottle nozzels from our local RC hobby shop at 20 for $2 then stretch them even a bit more so thin CA will just barley let a drop out with out squeezing the bottle. there so cheap and darn near spill proof. |

Larry, I'll check- I have a scientific catalog I sound lots of neat stuff in -polyethelene storeage jars, etc. I'll call you or PM in a few days. Got a bit going on. I go through lots of pippettes, but at SM's prices, I've been conservative. Lance, we don't want to step on toes here... you listening buddy? |

500 Pack of small bulb pipets Pack of 500, $28.83 = 5.8 cents each case of 5,000, $269.64 = 5.4 cents each One vendor sells for 20 cents each , slighly different bulb, I think. You can buy the VWR Scientific Products At VWR's price, I think many can order their own case, and have the comfort of using them as disposable rather than re-useable. Worth every penny! NOTE: THere are several sizes, shapes, and configuraation of pipets out there. Some are graduated, some with capillary stems,short, long, etc, etc. Check out the different types and pricing for your needs. The smallest with the "fine tip" or the "capillary stem" seem good for superglue apps. The other plain tip is great for lacquer or stain apps. Read up before you buy BTW the catalog I got from them is 2,500 pages! Good stuff in there. It's where CSI shops, methinks |

Terry, sounds good! (If Lance is okay with it!) I'd easily be in for half of 500, unless there's enough interest to go in shares of a case, then I'd be in for whatever amt. we came out to! |
