When I punch up the Main Discussion Forum tab, I can't see the logic by which the posts are ordered. They don't seem to be in the order I would expect them to be in. I would think that the most recent topics would be at the top of the list but that doesn't seem to be the case. How are they ordered. I generally use the Active topic selection but unless there has been a recent post it doesn't display everything. Sometimes it's just a little hard to find a particular topic if I want to post a comment. Thanks, John

They appear to be ordered in date order with the newest discussions on top. That is how I would expect them... as new topics are introduced older ones move down the page.

The exception to this is sticky topics -- they always precede regular posts. Lance and I have discussed this. I find these distracting and think we should limit these. We have since only let these be created by administrators. We just have to go in and clean up the old ones.

Maybe it is the sticky topics that seem to me to be in the way. Yeah I see 5 of them up there right now. OK thanks Brock.

I think they stick until someone makes them "un-stick".

That is why I was saying I think we need to be judicious about their use. More than 1 seems over the top.
