The first of my new models....and it sounds amazing! Probably the best,
out of the box, guitar I've ever built. Lacewood/Bearclaw sitka Crooner
grand concert, brazilian appointments. Forgive the reflections..I forgot
my polarizer, and these shots are really low res/file size for you dial up
guys..

That is one killer looking bear claw top you got there John. Very very nice as usual.

John, that is one complete, balanced, tasteful and beautiful design! It'd be perfect if it didn't sound so crummy. It DOES sound crummy, doesn't it? PLEASE tell me it sounds crummy! I'll believe you.

BTW, could you tell us a bit about its dimensions?

tone.

The dimensions of this model are:

15 1/8" Lower Bout
11 1/8" Upper bout
9 1/4" Waist
19 3/8" Body Lengh
4 1/2" Depth at Lower Bout

Hey John
Nice! How did you like working with the Lacewood. I used it on my 1st guitar and had a devil of a time with it. But it was the cheapest wood I could get.

The tone on my finished guitar was outstanding. I never expected hearing the sounds that came out of it. All in all a good experience. (except for the finish, which I refuse to even think about.)

Great work, as always!

John,

This guitar is the very reason I've been watching your guitar building DVD's
over and over and over again. This is sick! How did Kyle's turn out?

Peace,

Ross

That's a beautiful one John. Very similar to my most recent model. (though mine is a bit smaller all around). I'm convinced that these small bodies can indeed sound huge.
Good work! P
p.s. it would sure look good on a table in Montreal!
