Although I was angry that the Wings lost, I was BESIDE MYSELF that Stevie was ON THE BENCH for what may have been the last few seconds in a career that was among the very best ever.
The Oilers deserved that series, they out did the wings in EVERY single phase of the game. Sort of reminded me of the Wings when they USE to be hungry.

Congrats to the winners!

OK NEW RULE! now that the Wings are out NO SPORTS TALK AT THE OLF

JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!

The Wings put up a valiant effort - but in the end those gritty Oilers kicked butt, now everyone knows why the Canucks had such a hard time in thier division this year - playing the Flames and Oil injury plagued - we had no chance .
All I can say is that anyone who gets Crawford our recently and stupidly let go coach, is gonna be one lucky team - mabye we'll get Tortarella?
Cheers

Congrats OIL

Hey Charlie,I don't think Torts is leaving Tampa Bay,I hope not anyway He took the Lightning all the way to the Cup and I don't think they will fire him yet. Ottawa sure is a great team this year as they disposed of Tampa rather easily! They will be hard to beat IMO.

I hate to say it, but hockey in Michigan has had a good run for a while. It's time to pay attention now to a new rising star. For all those who think Detroit is still "Hockeytown", here is a thought for you all!
It's time for some BASEBALL! <G>
