I have been out of communication for the last several weeks, as my wife's father Andy is back in the intensive care unit in Las Vegas. (where we've been for the last two weeks) He is 85 years old and had open heart surgery about 5 months ago. He's healed fine from the surgery, but has never left the hospital. He keeps getting all these weird bugs from being laid up there, and has to fight battle after battle just to stay alive. His wife Pat, is there every day, eight hours a day, by his side.

Because of all these complications since the surgery he is doing nothing on his own. He's hooked up to machines that breathe for him, ones that dispose of his waste and ones that feed him. He is constantly drugged up to keep him out of pain from the sores he's recieved in the hospital, and others to keep him laid back so he's easier to handle. He is also in the advanced stages of Altzheimers.

This is so hard on my wife, Patti, and there is nothing I can do for her except to be there when she needs me.

I ask if you can keep Andy, his wife Pat, and my wife Patti, in your prayers. Thank you so much.

Doug, you and your family are in our prayers here too.
Know that what ever transpires, is God's will. God has a reason for everything and it's not our place to try to question God's actions. (easier said than done I know).
Remember what God said to Moses in Exodus 14:13, when Moses was trying to question God's every move. "Be still, and know that I am God."
Blessings, Paul

Thanks to all of you, and a special thanks from my wife. It is so great to be able to rely on you guys for prayer when the chip are a bit lopsided. It is so appreciated. God's blessings on all of you!
