Well, I went to pick up the mahogany I purchased and thought I would take some pictures of some of the other wood they got there. All 30% off the hardwoods. Let me know if I can be of some help if you want any of it.

I won't do any processing, but will pick it up and arange to have it shipped if you would like. Send me a PM and I'll see if I can help.

Anyway, enough stalling, I know all you picture hungry folks want to see the goods, so here it is

My little helper is about 32-34" so that should give you an idea of how big that piece of bubinga is.

Rod, I presume it's your little one? That is an absolute precious pic that should end up in her scrap book

Now to bizniz...is that curly bubinga price of $75.00bf before or after the discount? Either way, I just raised my curly bubinga set prices...THANKS!!!

Larry, That's before the discount, I bet it's about 3-5 hands removed and Canadian prices.

Please don't raise your prices, everyone here will kill me (or at least not like me ).

yeah I saw $75 per board foot and my jaw dropped. It is like $9.00-
$13.00 a board foot here locally. For mottled figure 4/4 stuff.

The mottle figure on QS bubinga is pretty standard. It's difficult to not find it, but that curly is way more valuable...around $35.00+bf in many shops. About the same price as pommele or waterfall figure.

I figured a much. All the bubinga they have is the mottled stuff. No
flamey stuff like the nice pics above.

I've never been fond of bubinga as a tonewood anyway so I've only ever
bought one board which I got a few sets from. I just don't like the
feedback I get from the wood itself...John Mayes38839.9803819444

Of course she takes after her mother. The only problem is that her mother doesn't have red hair either.

I just found an amazing board of - I thought it was zebrawood{looked zebra patterned}, he said granadillo - does that make sense to anyone?
anyway it was 13.00 a bd ft, is that a good deal - its realy beautiful 12-14 ft >its figured like those sets of black and white ebony only more white with black stripes - 1 1/2" - 2" thick and looks 1/4sawn{does that make sense with the figure?}
but I really couldnt tell that well the ends were really rough sawn and it was covered in grime, it was dark etc.
Cheers
