Logo advice...again

Well, I finally took some advice and went out and hired a professional to design my logo. He developed about 24 preliminary drawings, the problem is, every single one of them is really nice and I can't make up my mind.

I know art is a personal thing, but my question for you all is this: When choosing your logo, I've found they look very different depending on if you're using it for headstock inlay, guitar label, neck inlay, or even your website. What is the criteria you all used to choose your logo? When developing a brand, it boils down to more than just what people see on the headstock. While some look really nice on a headstock, I'm finding others look better when they are seperated from the guitar. Any advice on narrowing down a bunch of REALLY good logos?

John, I have run in to the same issue, I have a pretty cool K logo that everyone but me seem to think it looks good on the headstock. I much prefer my last name to be on the headstock, but I also like the Logo to be somewhere on the guitar.
What I ultimately decided to do was put my name on the HS, and on the interior of the guitar covering the two bolts on in the neck block is a paper tag with my logo on it, then at my website home page, once again my logo is prominent.
I may change my mind down the road, but for now this seem to be the best way for me to have both.

Hi John,

I went through this as well. My approach was to present samples to family and friends, especially the ones that did not play.
I did a headstock out line on the various versions and just made a list of the most liked.
In the end, the majority "winner" was the same one I had written down prior to the "vote".

Can we see them?

Ultimately brand is about a LOT more than the logo.... but this is surly one brick in the wall.

And... as goofy as this sounds.... look at them with respect to what you can cut in pearl. that should eliminate a lot of them. Also, I definitely would not do one that has every letter individually placed (unless you know a guy with a CNC machine)
