Does anyone know what could cause koa to yellow?
It happened to my carvin which has a poly finish.
I'm hoping there are ways to fix it without refinishing but
it seems unlikely.

I can't tell much from the pic but are you sure it is the wood that hs discolored or the finish?

I'm guessing a chemical or photo reaction with the finish, not the wood. If it is you know what that means... touch up or refinish
