Nelson, great work as usual. I've admired your work for some time now (in fact I've got two archtops on the bench right now thanks to your inspiration).
Is that headstock unique to this guitar or is that your usual design? I don't recall seeing it before. I like!

Paul--This a new headstock layout for me. It's wider than my previous 7-stringers to be more in proportion to the wider neck. (2 1/16" nut)
P.S. Better not forget credit to our daughter, Stephanie, for the photography.
Check out the babes!

Yeah, that headstock would be fun to bind
You are a glutten for punishment. But it looks fantastic.
Did you make a full "ring" to drop in the chanel or are they individual pieces mitered?

WOW. THAT is a fabulous guitar.

Thanks again, guys.
Paul--The binding is done the old fashioned way as in cut, bend, miter, cuss, cut bend miter etc.

Beautiful guitar Nelson. I was admiring your logo "P" and something came to mind. Since you build primarily archtops I noticed the bottom leg of the P looks similar to your F hole. Have you played around with making the entire leg of the P in the shape of an F hole and then add the upper circular P part? If you have settled on a logo then disregard this thought.

Your daughter has a gifted eye and remarkable ability with a camera lens. You must be one proud papa!

I think that is a great idea, but it seems to borrow heavily from Tom Ribbecke. He does the same thing with his R.
