I just thought I would post a few photos of my Gibson es347 that I have for sale. Mostly to show off all the burst. There are 12 on the guitar if you count the really small ones that are on the top of the headstock, not the front back or sides, but on top... I did not photos those, they are more like fades or maybe sunsets..

for those of you who don't like burst I hope you recover quickly from the overload and the rest of you should have your fill for the day.

hesh, it a '88. If I remember correctly it comes from the gibson custum shop. It has twin humbuckers with a split coil switch. So you can play it clean or fuzzzy. Plus you can emply either set of PUs or both together. Other then that I am no gibson expert so I really can't say what all the differences are, except 12..

Lance, yes its a beaut!! thats why I bought it when I wasn't truely looking. But my fingers do not have a clue what to do with it.. The guitar is very bored living with me.. It longs for smoke filled roudy rooms..

From what I can tell the differences between the 335 and the 347 are the fine-tune tailpiece (335 has a plain stop tailpiece), the coil tap switch, and high output pickups. There are apparently also some cosmetic differences (inlays and such) but I never see how people keep track of (or care about) those differences.

OK, now that looks great! See I've said it! But, you see it's an electric and a Gibson classic, so it's cool. It's just on acoustics that I don't like them. Every time I see "Lucille" I want one.

Mike, I know you might like to think of this as having several bursts, but this is the standard way of sunbursting a guitar...

I have a friend who had one of these...it's a nice guitar.
