Matt, I had no idea it was going to be that gorgeous. Beautiful Koa bro...it's a winner, and you really set the bar another notch higher for the rest of us again.
Hey...can we see the headstock?

Matt, that's really nice. Simple appointments and fine workmanship often produce exceptional guitars, and I'll wager that that's the case here!

That's some seriously sweet piece of workmanship. I really love that simple old Martin headstock shape too. Really great Matt. I knew it would come out great, although I don't know how you're doing it all considering everything going on right now for you!

Matt...

That's one fine looking piece. I love it's simplicity. I'm a sucker for Tortoise (sp) binding, and the Koa looks choice. What design plan is this one? I'd love to tackle something like that in the future...It's looks to be a Grand Auditorium of sorts?

Beautiful guitar Matt! Koa is one of my top two favorite woods (the other being Mad. Rosewood).

I also like the headstock.

Thanks very much, I use a template from "the" 1928 Martin OM that Tj.Thompson was kind enough to share with me.
This cutaway was only the second one I have bent successfully on my fox bender. all my previous ones were bent by hand on the hot pipe.

Koa and sitka are an awesome combo, and i was very pleased with the sound of this guitar.

thanks again.
Matt

Elegant guitar, the tortoise binding was a great choice to go with that Koa. Every time I look at my old Martins I think to myself that I must use some tortoise and then never get round to it.

That's one fine stringed instrument! It will make a lot of people happy through the next two or three hundred years... You can be proud.
