Ok so its not my first guitar, but it is the first classical I ever made.
Thought I would share a few pics, it is loosely based on a Fleta, with some bits of Torres thrown in for good measure.

Hesh Thank You Yes it is EIRW Back and sides with the off cut from the sides used as binding. THE EIRW is the most beautiful set I have ever seen my customer bought it about 30 years ago with the intention of making this guitar himself (he is a Cabinet Maker). He is unfortunately now Terminally ill with about 6 to 12 Months to live, so his Son and him asked me to build it. It has a 15' Radius side to side on the back, and 28' in the lower bout on the top, then Flat in the upper bout. |

Jeff The Neck Joint is a normal Bolt On using Cross Dowels, The Neck will be set up flat and then the fingerboard will be tapered from the nut to the rosette end. |

Hi Russell, Lovely looking guitar so far. I've not had the courage to try a classical as yet. They are so much harder to make sounding really good than a steel string so kudos. That's a really sad story but I know there will be a lot of happiness you will make there if only for a short time. A good reminder of the things that really matter in life. |

Wow, Russ, that's one gorgeous guitar. Really like the purfling. I've been meaning to order some from them. Do you have a stock # handy? Knockout EIR too. So sad about the customer, but what a nice thing for him to see come to fruition. |

Very nice looking Russell. Also very cool that you have the Spanish foot and are bolting the neck on. I think that is a very intellegent way to go about attaching any kind of neck, classicals included, and it speaks volumes for your willingness to do the unconventional. The braces just shine and the entire box looks sensitive. I bet it is going to sound wonderful. John |

Russ, That's beautiful. I love self-bound guitars. Not speaking of those rare guitars that actually put their own bindings on themsleves, but those guitars that use side cut-offs for binding. If you do have a guitar that actually binds itself, will you take pictures of that, please?

Thanks Guys Appreciatte the comments, I should clear one thing up, I am being paid to work on this guitar, it was a project I really wanted to do, and if I was in a position where I could do it for free I probably would have, but I have to make a living  .
Colin You can take the credit for this one without your help, guidance, and the beautiful bridge you made for me I probably wouldn't have taken it on. Serge You look like you are doing just fine buddy , your 2nd looks a lot better than my 2nd 
Steve Thats something I would like to see, I did do a top replacement where I dropped the top in leaving the bindings in place, kind of self binding. John Thanks, The Fleta design didn't have the heel, but I though it seemed appropriate. Robbie I knew I forgot something
