Guys and gals, I apologize for my absence lately. It has been a very busy two weeks for my family and I. We did our daughters 8th birthday party last weekend which I swear went from Saturday to Monday night! Now im prepping for the 5th annual Blues Festival in Jackson, should be 25 to 30,000 people there, it runs from Thursday thru Saturday.Im the only Gitfiddle maker showing stuff

Anyways, I've not been posting much lately, there have been a number of fantastic guitar's show up over the last week or so that I have not had time to offer up any kudos for, as well as some very engaging topics that I have really wanted to dive into.

Hopefully ill be back on track early next week and back to bugging ya'll.

LK
PS, Hesh & Lacey, your cordially invited to attend! Its a 40 minute drive for you guys and I bet dollars to Krispy Kream donuts you'll have a blast!
Its 6pm to 9pm Thurday and Friday and noon to midnight Saturday.

Anyone else in driving distance of Jackson MI may want to check it out too!

How do you cater an event where the attendance can vary from 25 to 30,000?    Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Thanks Dave -
Actually, John Lee Hooker JR will be headlining.
I don't suspect any commissions will come of it, Jackson is a bit of a blue collar town, If I do, great, if not that's fine. I plan to have a great time and its in my backyard, so I just gotta do it

Lance if you don't mind me asking what does the festival charge for your concession. Most that I go to around here charge either a day rate of $25-$50 or an event rate between $50-$200 depending on what event it is.

The cost is 100.00 for a 10X10 booth. That is total for all 3 days. A good bargin considering the amout of people that will be there.
