Hi guys,
I finished up the plans and they are up for sale on my website www.cthluthiery.com Through the end of June I am offering a $5 discount to fellow OLFer's. Hope this helps some of you who cannot afford the machine itself.

The jig can do virtually any compound or straight radius you'd want for your fingerboard, and some are now also using it to radius their neck and tail blocks.

Again, hope it helps!

Craig

Great Jon...thanks! I'm heading off to the post office tomorrow so they should get to you sometime next week.
Can I ask you where "letseatpaste" came from?

The screenname came from several years ago when I was trying to sign up for an AOL instant messenger account and every variation of my name or nicknames seemed to be taken, so I started trying to think of phrases noone would possibly want. And I'm not sure, but I may have recently watched an episode of Simpsons where Ralph Wiggum was eating paste, so maybe that was rattling around in my brain when I thought of it.

Looking forward to seeing the plans.

Craig,

That is SMART marketing! Let those who can afford the jig buy it outright, and allow the DIY guys to do it themselves, and recoup some of your R&D time. Smart, smart, smart!

Dennis

Cool!

For those who haven't used this jig, you are in for a real treat - it is awesome! Takes me about 3.5 minutes to radius a fretboard, and a quick touch-up with some 320 grit and it is ready for dots and frets!

Thanks Craig!

Jon...interesting...hope they had a "Do not try this at home" on the show, 'cuz you know somebody would!

Dennis, I really can't take the credit for the idea...it's been suggested to me multiple times by the DIY guys, so, I finally got my act together.

Mattia, glad you are riding high!

Mark, thanks a lot! This jig is something I will always be proud of as a result of the blood, sweat and tears (literally) that I put into it!

Have a great day all!
Craig
