Here are renderings of the guitar that I had all of you vote on the rosette for. The conscience was that the basic design may have been too busy. So I toke the divided ring out and replaced with a solid ring. I had to stay with Mahogany on the leaves because the contrast between the Acacia was not enough. I have not added bracing to the model yet so the wood you see inside the sound hole is the back showing through the hole. The woods used are taken from photos of the actual wood to be used. Some tint adjustment still to be made Neck not shown yet (just the fretboard)

Woods
b/s: Black acacia
top: bear clawed Caucasian Spruce
binding: Rosewood

I know I posted this in string below.....did not mean too

Michael,

That is going to be a gorgeous guitar. Is this a commission? Or are you just doing it for your own joy?

Jeff[/QUOTE] Nope, It is mine I did a Koa top with IRW back and side a couple years ago. It had Paua for the leaves and MOP vot the stems. no leaves at the sound hole The material used on this one is from a commisin that got canceled before I even got startedMichaelP38365.7018981481

Michael, this is truly marvelous technology. You are quite good at it too. The pic on the far right looks like a photo of a finished guitar, and almost is. Thanks for sharing.

That looks perfect. This committee approach paid off, didn't it? Nice, nice job.
