GAL in 9 days -who's going?

I hope to see some of you there. I'll be staying in the south campus apartments with my own kitchen so will be cooking up some Alaska King Salmon one night. Stop by with your guitars for a hello and a bite.

Sounds cool Scott, wondering if there was going to be an OLF get together there?

waaaaaaahhh... I'm only 4 hours away, have a place to stay, but can't make it.

Maybe next year after I have few more under my belt (guitars, that is, not lbs.).

Yep, I'm going. Driving out. The drive begins at Lake Michigan, in Chicago (well, just north of Chicago) and will end in Tacoma, just two days later. I should be out there by Tuesday night.

I very much wish. I'm definitely planning on trying to attend either ASIA or GAL once I finish El Degree (today was my first day of pre-internship training; still a 9-to-5 thing for the next 6 weeks, but after that...)

I'll be there too, with a new guitar I finished just to bring along. How about a tune for some salmon? I'll try and find you.
Marshall, too bad I didn't know you were driving out, we could have car-pooled! I would rather have done that than fly out on the plane I booked. Man, I could have french-polished my guitar in the back seat on the ride out!

I love those.

Well, I am only taking one with me on the plane. Sorry about that! So this one is a Rosewood/Redwood guitar- I've never used that combination! I hope you'll like it anyway.<G>

Just to let everyone know, I'm going to be giving a workshop on French Polish on the First and second day, as well as having a booth, so, feel free to stop by, say Hi, chat for a while and whatnot! Also, stop on by the workshop and have some fun!

Marshall, I'll be at your workshop, video camera in hand, and a voracious appetite to learn everything I can from you over the weekend.

Marshall, I'm coming to your workshop also.
In fact, you are one of the reasons I'll be attending the convention.
I missed your father's master class at the LINT meeting last year, and have regretted it since. This will be some redemption for me!

So---make it good!

Steve
